About us individually. . .
Brett and Darlene (Dar') Scott are directors and founders of Heirborn Promise Ministries, Inc. (HPM).  They have ministered extensively as part of the group, and separately as husband and wife since their musical beginnings in 1982.  Since an early age, both Brett and Darlene have felt called to share their faith through the medium of music.

They have been active musically for many years, with Brett teaching bass and guitar, and Darlene traveling and singing in various capacities.  They collaborate as song writers, with close to 50 songs to their credit.  Recognized by ASCAP as song writers and publishers, their organization, Scott II Music, administers publication of their original material.

Professionally, Brett holds a BA in Psychology, a BA in Sociology, and a Master's in Education.  He has worked as a teacher and consultant, and is also an ordained minister.  Darlene holds degrees in business and secretarial administration, and is responsible for maintaining the ministry office.



Kevin Shreve is known for his exceptional vocal ability and warm, witty personality.  He has been active for many years as a singer and song writer.

Personally, Kevin and his wife Judy are kept busy with their two young sons, as well as operating a small farm in West Virginia.  Professionally, Kevin holds a MS in engineering and is also a certified lay minister.

When not traveling with Heirborn Promise, Kevin is active in his home church as lay minister, youth leader, and teacher.
